PRODUCT NO. 1 — PROTOTYPE

5th Prototype represents the current stage of Product No. 1, developed through repeated fitting, measurement, and comparison with historical references.

By 5th Prototype, the fundamental proportions of Product No. 1 had largely taken shape. The remaining work focuses on refining smaller details before the final prototype.

Last and Construction Studies

Product No. 1 was developed through the comparison and measurement of multiple historical wooden lasts, including Munson-influenced examples in different sizes. These studies helped identify the most suitable foundation for reconstructing an early American boot silhouette.

X-ray analysis was also used to study the internal construction of reference boots, including the riveted shank area, fastening layout, and heel structure. These findings informed the development of the prototype.
